BIOGRAPHY

Murray Conque hails from Carencro, Louisiana, which is located deep in the heart of Cajun Country.

For over twenty-five years he has entertained audiences at banquets and conventions all across the country from Las Vegas, Nevada to Quebec, Canada. He has recorded five humor tapes and is the co-author of two popular books, "Cajun Humor", and "Cajun Spices for the Mind."

You may have seen him on national television, having made appearances on the "Regis and Kathie Lee Show" and the "Chef John Folse Show." He has also landed one of the major roles in a full length movie entitled "The Magician King" which was released in the Fall of 2005.

Besides wearing many hats, Murray also wears a crown. He was named "King of the Cajun Joke-tellers" at the International Cajun Joke-telling Contest. In 2001, 2002 and 2003 he was voted "Best Local Comedian" by the readers of Lifestyle Magazine and The Times of Acadiana.

Murray has been chosen as the opening act for such names as Trace Adkins, The Bellamy Brothers, Aaron Neville, The Temptations,
Hunter Hayes, Mickey Gilley and Ray Price.

In February of 2006, he was invited to perform at the prestigious Hubcap Comedy Festival in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

He's full of fun and tells so many Cajun stories, it's hard to pick a favorite. But there is one thing you can be sure of; Murray will ONLY use warm, clean Cajun humor that is suitable for all audiences.
